Checkpoint module

Based on a shipping container frame, the REBORN checkpoint module is a finished building for controlling access to a site and for receiving visitors. It brings together a waiting room for visitors, a separate room for the operator or guard, and a corridor that connects them. The module works as a permanent post at a factory or logistics gate, and just as well as a temporary setup for events, concerts, ports, guarded sites and office complexes.

The windows and doors have mirror glazing with a reflective film that faces outward. This lets the operator watch the whole surroundings and the waiting room, while from outside the inside is not visible.

The walls are insulated with closed cell polyurethane, and a heat pump handles both heating and cooling, so the post stays usable throughout the year. Heat recovery units in the waiting room and the security room keep the air fresh. The module also has exterior lights that switch on automatically in the evening, once it gets dark.

The steel frame keeps the building stable and intact even after the journey from the factory to the installation site. No foundations are needed, because the module is placed on concrete blocks, and it can be moved if the control point changes over time.
